Tutorial: Como fazer uma bota (How to make a boot)

Olá lindinhos que leem o meu blog <3 tudo certo? Hoje estou trazendo um tutorial bem simples de como fazer uma bota para o seu cosplay. Não é profissional, não sou expert e não vi nenhum tutorial de moldes. Esse tutorial simplesmente saiu da minha cabeça, não sei se quem confecciona botas faz desta forma, mas achei bem útil os meus moldes.

Hello beauties who read my blog <3 how are you? Today I'm bringing a very simple tutorial: how to make a boot for your cosplay. Is not professional, I am no expert and I didn't see any mold tutorial. This tutorial just came out of my head and I don't know if the boots manufactures' make it in this way, but I think my way's very useful.

Yes, meu cosplay está saindo! Comecei primeiro na bota. Aqui estão os tecidos que comprei para fazer a confecção do cosplay. Deve ser fácil de adivinhar, mas não vou contar, hahaha! Adivinhem. <3

Agora.. Como fazer a bota para o seu cosplay? Você vai precisar de:

♥ Tecidos (comprei malha grossa porque não achei courino na cor que eu queria. Recomendo courino);

♥ Linhas;

♥ Máquina de costura;

♥ Folhas de jornal ou outras para fazer o molde;

♥ Tesoura;

♥ Sapato que servirá de base (usei um de salto estilo anabella, já que é o tipo de salto da minha bota).

Now .. How to make your cosplay boots'? You will need:
♥ Fabrics ( I have not found courino the color that I wanted to. I recommend courino);
♥ Lines;

♥Sewing Machine;

♥ Newspaper sheet or other to the mold;
♥ Scissors;
♥ Shoe as the basis (I used an anabela's shoes since it is the type of heel of my boot).

Step-by-steps

1) Tire as medidas da sola do sapato que irá usar. Da mesma forma, tire as medidas dos lados, medindo como centro. Você tirará as medidas da sola do seu sapato de base e os lados, fazendo dois moldes.

1) Take the measures of your shoes sole. Similarly, take the measurements of the sides, measured at the center. You will take the measures of the sole base and sides, making two molds.

2) Com o sapato de base no seu pé, deite a sua perna e faça um molde circulando a sua perna com uma caneta por cima do papel, para fazer outro molde. Faça o tamanho que precisar para a sua bota. A minha foi um pouco acima do joelho, pois queria dobrar o tecido. Ilustração dos moldes:

2) With the shoe on your foot, throw your leg and make a mold circling your leg with a pen over paper to make another mold. Make the size you need for your boot. Mine was a little above the knee, because I wanted to fold the fabric. Molds illustration:

Aqui temos, da esquerda para a direita: o molde do sapato de lado, molde da minha perna e molde da sola do sapato.

Here, from left to right: shoe side's mold, my leg's mold and shoes soles mold.

3) No tecido, corte 4 vezes o primeiro molde (seguindo a foto), 4 vezes o segundo molde e 2 vezes o terceiro molde. O espaço entre o tracejado que fiz dos moldes é o centímetro de costura. ATENÇÃO: Sempre deixem um espaço para a linha de costura! Assim podem ajustar depois, se ficar muito apertado ou muito largo. É muito importante deixar este espaço.

3) On the tissue, cut four times the first mold (following the picture), the second mold 4 times and 2 times the third mold. The space between the dash that made the molds is the centimeter sewing. CAUTION: Always leave a space for the line sewing! You can adjust later if it gets too tight or too wide. It is very important to do this.

4) Costure! Una o primeiro e o terceiro molde, costurando desta forma.

4) Sew it! Attach the first and third template, sewing in this way.

Nas fotos, a região da sola está virada para cima. A parte maior é a parte de trás.

In the photos, the sole is facing up. The largest part is the back.

5) Logo após, costure a parte da perna, juntando as quatro parte e fazendo duas botas. ATENÇÃO: Não junte as pate de baixo do segundo molde com costura! O espaço que sobrar dali será para unir os três moldes, o que já costuramos e o que acabamos de costurar.

5) After that, sew the leg, joining the four part and making two boots. CAUTION: Do not join the down parts of the second mold with sewing! The space will be left there to join the three molds, which already sew and the mold we just sewing.

6) Último passo: costure tudo! Coloque do lado certo e, na hora de fazer a primeira prova, cuidado. No meu caso, passei a costura só uma vez na parte roxa, e algumas partes da costura soltaram. Na semana que vem eu voltarei para a casa da minha avó para passar mais costuras por cima. Por isso, recomendo que passem a máquina mais vezes por cima desse molde maior, para não ter perigo de soltar.

6) Final step: sew everything together! Place the right side, in time for the firstproof test, beware. In my case, I started sewing only once in the purple part, and some parts of sewing released. Next week I will return to my grandmother's house to spend more seams on top. So, I recommend sew more times over

Almost finished result:

TCHARAM! Minha bota quase pronta. Falta só adicionar os detalhes e estará prontinha para uso. O tecido que usei estica, por isso fiz só um pouco menor do que o molde, assim ficou bem grudado na minha perna. Porém, recomendo um tecido mais rígido, como courino, para ter uma aparência mais de bota mesmo. Todavia, achei que ficou muito bonito e vai combinar muito com o meu cosplay que, aliás, farei um tutorial de como costurar também. Será um passo-a-passo bem legal e que ajudará muitas pessoas, espero.

TCHARAM! My almost finished boot. I just need to add the details and it will be all ready for use. The fabric I used is elastic, so I made it a little lower than the mold, so it was well stuck in my leg. However, I recommend a stiffer fabric as courino to have a more even appearance to boot. But I thought it was very beautiful and will combine a lot with my cosplay which, incidentally, will make a tutorial of how to sew well. It will be a really cool step-by-step and I will help many people, I hope so.
